How many of you prefer pads? I have no problem using tampons, i used them for just over a year, I would just rather wear a pad.
Every time I tell my friends that i prefer pads most of them tell me im wierd, only a few of my friends agree.
How many of you prefer pads? and if so, why?

| I DEFINITELY prefer pads too! I wore tampons once and absolutely hated how they felt and swore I would never wear them again. That was some years ago too. My friends think I'm crazy too, but I don't care. Pads to me work well, are comfortable and, well, they're not tampons! So they're good in my book. | |

| I used to use tampons too but I switched to pads and I never used a tampon again. Pads feel more natural to me for some reason like its supposed to feel that way, not like tampons which kinda block up your flow, which just doesn't feel right. | |

Although I wear tampons once in a while, for the most part I wear pads. To me, I get a feeling of protection that tampons just don't offer, plus I like being able to know exactly when I need to change my protection. I find that pads  me keep track of my flow and how close I am to the end of my period a lot more easily than with tampons. | |

I am definately a pad girl myself! I use Always Maximum Protection pads. My period is very heavy! I typically use the Ultra Thin version the most, but sometimes I will use the thicker pad version if I feel like it. I can't wait to see what the Always Infitity pads are like! I hear they are great!

I'm a pad-girl, although I use tampons when necessary. I'd much rather wear a pad for any time else that a tampon is not required such as swimming. Even if I do regular land sports, I still opt for wearing a pad. Really, pads work fine for even the most extreme of sports with the proper support. Wearing proper panties will keep the pad firmly into place, especially with the of wings. I like pads just because I find them effective and comfortable. Always Infinity has yet to be released in Canada, but I am looking forward to testing them out. I have heard review from fellow girls who have had the opportunity to use Infinity and have heard many positive things. Pads make it  for me to know when to change, since the degree of saturation is visible. With a tampon, while you can kind of feel the absorption level, it may not be completely accurate until you pull it out to check and then you really don't want to put it back in. I like the secure feeling of a tight-thick pad against me and whether this truly provides protection is one thing, but it gives me personal assurance which leaves me free to concentrate on what matters. | |
