I think I am the dumbass for once because I am curious an wondering if the pain of Cramps and Bloating you are exadurating or if it does hurt that bad? I'd think it would be cramps you could sit through and tough out without making a scene instead of the pain you'd get with appendicitis. Why in the heck would it be that bad? Honeslty, I've never seen or heard about something this bad. I tend to think that it is exaduration. I'm wondering if someone that knows a lot about PMS could tell me how bad this affects a woman every month?
katie profile 10-10-07 2:54 AM
it affects everyone differently. they don't hurt me hardly at all. some people have different hormone levels than you and me though and it will hurt them more.

you don't even have a period anyway. you told us that already. so why do you keep COMPLAINING about other people complaining about it? you have no room to complain. you don't even have one. you're lucky!

PS - for someone who keeps pretending to be a doctor, anesthesiologist, EMT, etc... you'd think you'd know about these kinds of things. you'd also think a professional like that would know how to spell "exaggeration" correctly...
EMT/FD/State Police profile 10-10-07 9:43 AM
I don't know how it feels, that's why I'm asking. I'm not the person being affect here, it's the other patient. The only time I've had to deal with periods is if someone needed a blood transfusion. As an EMT, we don't deal with girl issues. It's nice to be curious once in awhile though. There are some things we haven't come across. I volunteer in a rural area, so maybe that's why.

You don't have to be a professional in law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical medicine. The thing is that you might not have had be experienced in Emergency Services. That's not a big deal. Maybe you can learn from me, since I was a State Trooper and finished the academy at 21, and I volunteered at the Fire Department since I was 16, and an EMT at 18, so I could be an Active Member. Technically, it's more fast paced than professional. I'm not a receptionist. I'll be kicked out BIG TIME. Because I scream and don't want to dress in skirts just to have a job. You're still in college. Hopefully, you get to wear scrubs. I hate skirts, that's why I didn't go in the College of Business. A lot of Seniors in High School might get a few letters mixed up when they're spelling uncommon words. You're fine. I said before that I type quick and this isn't a college paper. Your cool.

#1. you're NOT an EMT.

#2. if you actually were an EMT you would HAVE to know at least a little about that because that can affect many other health issues. menstruation messes all your hormones up and hormones can affect lots of things.

STOP LYING, PLEASE!

if you're an EMT, tell me how many chest pumps per minute (CPR) would you do on a child who is choking and suffocating?
EMT/FD/State Police profile 10-17-07 4:47 PM
easy as a fricken piece of pie. You know what I'd do before I'd even attempt CPR, I'd do the Hemlich Manuver in the case of choking, because maybe we could get the object up out of the body before we'd say, "Let's do CPR NOW!" If that doesn't work, especially if he/she is suffocating quickly, I'd begin mouth-to-mouth aka CPR. First step, I'd give 2-3 Rescue Breaths, then I'd pump the chest 30 times every minute for 2-5 minutes, if the patient is not breathing, and if their heart stops, I could shock them every 10 seconds for a half of a minute, and if we are at the hospital, we'd have no other choice, but to pronounce them dead.
EMT/FD/State Police profile 10-17-07 4:51 PM
What I'm trying to say here is I don't know a lot about the symptoms. Sometimes, I have to know in case of Blood Transfusion, or before giving medications that are blood-thinners, or maybe even fainting, because when we are dealing with blood, who cares about the symptoms, we care about whether or not they are flowing or not.
katie profile 11-01-07 4:41 PM
good job, you just killed that kid.

it was a trick question. you WOULDN'T do CPR unless they had no pulse. just because they're choking doesn't mean their heart stopped. you only do chest pumps if their heart stops.

you just looked up that procedure online like i knew you would. you were caught in yet another lie.
katie profile 11-01-07 4:43 PM
and of course you'd care about the Pt's (that's the medical abreviation for patient, which you probably didn't know) symptoms. you only decide what procedures you're going to do based on their symptoms, otherwise how do you know what the hell procedure you're going to do?
katie profile 11-01-07 4:46 PM
btw, CPR is not rescue breathing. that was another part of the trick question. CPR is cardiopulmonary resuscitation. in other words the chest pumps you'd do on a person pushes blood to the brain. rescue breathing is just that - rescue breathing. they're two different things. rescue breathing is part of CPR, but chest pumps aren't necessarily part of rescue breathing if their heart is still pumping.

How do you know that she looked this up on the internet? It is impossible to even know that. Yes I know what you are dealing with. I have seen her posts about asking children what underwear they are wearing and insulting others because they are on the cheerleading team. Then you notice her posting about models and whining about their boyfriends and etcetera.
katie profile 11-13-07 3:29 PM
because she just basically copied and pasted it verbatim. she looked up the definition of CPR because i lead her to believe that's what the kid needed. if she was a real EMT she'd know the kid didn't need CPR and would be able to tell me all that. even if she didn't look it up on the internet, which i'm sure she did, she was wrong about giving the kid CPR.

I get really bad cramps like I'll just keel over but they only happen a few times a day, but I get really stink farts and diahreah before and during so basically PMS sucks. And I'm a really mean beyotch before and during my period.
Sarah profile 02-04-09 10:35 AM
Hi get diarrhea during PMS and for the first few days of my period too. It totally sucks and can be VERY embarrassing! I mean, I have ruined many pairs of panties and pads in my day when an attack of the "runs" happens all of a sudden.
