I've been having a problem lately that started out innocently enough. First it started out as I wasn't tired at night so I couldn't get to sleep until nearly one am- and that was on school nights, no matter how hard i tried I ciuldn't sleep. I thought it was fine though bc I've always had trouble sleeping and stuff like that. Then after about two weeks of this I started being more more tired during the day, good news was that this tsrated happening closer to summer. Then it got to the point ( this was now in summer) were I wasn't getting to bed at earliest around 3:30 and latest past 6:30 am. And I'm constantly tired during the day now and sometimes even when I don't sleep in late or fall asleep during the day after a really late night I still can't sleep at night. It's like as soon as it hits 9 pm I lose all tiredness and become wide awake. Some days I sleep in late or I wake up normal time and fall asleep during my day, or BOTH. It's really annoying and my worst concern is when I go back to school and when I go away to camp. Please !

Hey, I have the same thing as you. I can barely stay awake during the day, and all day I always just want to sleep so badly, but then once night comes, I'm not tired at all. I'm 18 now, this has been happening to me since I was 12 or so. I take sleeping pills, or graval s, so does codiene which is in some other types of drugs. Other than that I can't really you. I know it's frustrating, I hate it too, but maybe you could also try meditating, putting yourself in a relaxed state of mind before you go to sleep. That works with me sometimes, not all the time though. Hope I ed!

try going to bed when you feel tired. another option would be to stay up. for example, say you are getting tired at 6:00 AM, drink some coffee and try to stay awake. go to bed at like 7:00 PM or as early as 6:00 and you'll be back to normal! it worked for me after, oh, 2 or 3 days w/out sleep...
