Well, I just got my braces today, and I had trouble eating, like is this normal? Like I'm scared that something might move when I eat. Am I crazy or is it just normal?

Ha I got mine this past Wednesday. It was pretty weird to eat. The orthodontis told me it would feel like something is moving (but it's really not). So yeah.. what you're feeling is normal-- well, I experienced it too. And my teeth were killing me the day after! So soup was pretty much my best friend

totally normal! i felt the same way for like a day but then you get used to it and you don't feel it

I get my braces tomorrow and I was told that they are sore over the next few days and to only eat soft foods. That won't be a problem for me, I practically live on mashed potatoes!

It is normal because your teeth may not feel the best when you first have your braces put on.
