| ok, so i went to the doctors the other day because i thought i might have an std but i am hoping it is just bacterial vaginosis which is not an STD... but she still perscribed me antibiotics just in case it were. i took them and yeah they were huge a$$ round pills that tasted nasty. anyways, i took them and was able to keep them down... but now i am having vaginal bleeding and its freaking me out... is this normal after taking like 2200mg of antibiotics? | |

| That is a likely side effect of antibiotics for females. Vaginal bleeding, yeast infections can be common during and after taking antibiotics. It probably won't hurt to consult a medical professional about your curiosity. Antibiotics are normally used to treat common infections and rarely used for STDs. If you are using antibiotics for an STD, you can expect any side effect as far as vaginal bleeding, thrust, yeast infections, nausea, mild fever, and etcetera. | |
