I try to explain my opion on glasses and contacts every year and a half. I think its time now.
one that that makes me mad (or used to because I cant get angry no more) is the way televison makes glasses look bad. like that aciview commercial with that  chick. she would look ter if her glasses weren't so dorky. and alot of classmates wear glasses but they dont look so bad. if anything girls look ter in glasses.
I don't wear contacts and I never plan on it. Here is the rundown on contacts. Contacts are for people who are too afraid show people they wear glasses. this isn't the 20th century no more where your critisied for glasses. (although I am sometimes crisised for it they only do that because they know that I aint gonna do anything about it) if your really are afraid of wearing glasses then get a damn life. your gonna have to do things your entire life that you arent' gonna like. and if your afraid to wear glasses because your afraid that people will say things. then you obviusly are not prepared for the world of life.
however there is a flaw in my thinking. if people cannot see out of glasses because of some eye problems. then wear them I will not stop you. but dont think because you wear contacts that everyone else should. because glasses can look good. and can go with any fashion style.

| well i guess u shud understand first of all why ppl choose to wear the contacts, i wanted contacts cus of what i do at school, which involves p ography and drawing and stuff...it reflects sunlight when i'm drawing, making it difficult to see objects that i'm drawing and i have to take them off while looking through the viewer of the camera....so sumtimes ppl wear them for convinience...i dont mind my glasses but it doesnt go with everything...and its ppl's choice....u choose to wear glasses and other ppl choose to wear contacts | |

| They're worried what their boyfriend will think abou their looks and see if the guys will reconize her. If not, she'll insult herself as "dorky." She thinks her boyfriend is worried about her looks. It's all ridiculous. I went through it since Junior High. | |
