i'll be 14 in 1 week and i still haven't started my period!! is any one else like that?? everyone says they hate their period but i can't wait to get mine!!

It depends on the girl if you are very light weighted your body isnt ready to have a baby, so you dont get a period. Im 14 too i have had mine since i was 12. Its fine, i know people who havent gotten it untill like.. 17. its normal

It depends on the girl and genetics. It is normal until you get to age of sixteen. If you haven't developed breasts medical experts in endocrinology say that you need to see a doctor in that case. I'm not a doctor. I'm giving you hints on how to take this. It is normal to a certain extent.

When you do get your period, do not be frightened because that shows your body is healthy. I've had my period since I was ten years old and was irregular for six months. It may feel awkawrd at first but attempt to keep onto your daily activities becaue it will relieve cramps and backaches. Talk to your mom about the issues of menstruation and maybe she can give you better information than I can. GOOD LUCK! -Emily

dont worry, it'll happen. and when it does, its much less exciting. im nearly 15 and got mine 4 the first time a couple weeks ago. i was all excited, but then i got annoyed coz pads feel like your wearing a nappy, and i tried tampons but it felt weird . anyway, enjoy not having to worry about it, i wish i didnt have to worry about it now i have them.

Don't worry. I didn't get mine until I was 14. And I used to be like you. I couldn't wait until I started. But now I hate it. It sucks. Lol!
