I've been having a lot of sore throats. I have also been horse. I also have pain and discomfort when I swallow. Do I need a tonsilectomy?

It all depends on if your tonsils are giving you that problem. Talk to your doctor and if there is not a problem, keep an eye on your throat to make sure everything is fine back there. You could just have strep or something. Only a doctor can say and I'm not a doctor.
