| i dont think it has anything to do with your period. it just happens when people run. | |

| I get that all of the time. I'm malnourished though, and I'm not athletic or in shape or anything. Perhaps you need to eat more healthy food or just excersize more? Iono. | |

a lot of side stitches and cramps during exercise usually have to do with breathing. try to control it better and (this may sound strange, but it works!) instead of using your lungs to breathe, practice breathing using your diaphram (sp?) which is located around your stomach. once you get used to that, you'll notice that you get less and less side cramps. slightly useful tip for bad cramps during exercise: If the cramp is really bad and you have to stop, first stop and (this may also sound weird) dig your fingers into the area that hurts. at the same time, take the arm of the same side that hurts, and reach over your head so you are stretching your abdomen and the muscles that are cramping up.
hope this s anyone | |

| It could simply be the exercise. Occasionally, when I run, I'll get side stitches and things of that sort. | |
