| I've had headaches almost every day for a long time, but my meds arent working- any ideas what i can do for pain if the medication they give me doesnt work?? | |

| Midol...haha I'm so serious, I have those headaches, and no medicine works except for Midol and sleeping | |

being in a dark place  s me and i listen to a soothing sound like white noise of rain fall on this sound machine the doctor recommended. also, when they get unbearable to me I take a bath with vanilla body wash and bubbles. The scent of vanilla always seems to make it better. Ive been getting cronic headaches casually since i was about 2 and these are just some of the things that have ed me.. you could email me for more ideas though....cha nel44xoxo@aol.com | |

| After an over-the-counter NSAID does not work, I would suggest that you see a medical professional. There could be many possibilities that could be more critical than you think but it could be a mild problem such as you may need a stronger medication to relieve these headaches. Only a doctor would be able to tell. | |

i actually have a headache right now. so why am i on the computer instead of resting? good question... when meds don't work i use a long cold pack in a sleeve and wrap it around my head and go to bed. it's really cold (really!) at first, but you get used to it and it numbs the pain so i can fall asleep. when i wake up it's gone. the headache that is.
headache's suck. i think i'll go rest now... | |
