Hi everybody, i wonder if you can me, i have been having pain on the left side of my lower back my side and lower front, for about a week now, i have been getting chills, then sweating a lot. I wondered if this could be a kidney infection? is is worth goin to the doctor about it? only i have heard that untreated kidney infections can turn into kidney failure, or blodd poisening. if you can answer the questions above please reply Sarah | |

| It's a little late that I can see. My reply is three years later but my knowledge can tell you that there are other possibilities to back pain other than kidney failure or any critical kidney condition. It could be natural reasons too. Sometimes, if you are an active person, you'll notice pain is a body response to where you have been working hard and I notice that a lot, especially when I do intense exercises that my body will get tense and a couple of days later, I can't do a sit-up because I would be so sore. I understand your condition and not always is back pain the result of kidney failure. If circumstances come to where it doesn't get better, consult a family physician to see exactly what your condition could possibly be by pinpointing your symptoms. Good luck. -Emily | |
