WHAT DO YOU USE MOST TAMPONS OR PADS OR BOTH? WHICH IS MORE COMFORABLE? I USE PADS BUT I WANT TO USE TAMPONS BUT I AM SCARED IT MIGHT GET STUCK, CAN THEY GET STUCK?????

hey hunni....i definetly use both! my periods are usually soo heavy and when i put just a tampon in im always afraid that i will leak so i buy super tampons(ONLY pearl, i am a full pearl gurl) and then just some lil thin pads to wear that dont feel like a diaper or nething...so yah that works best 4 me! and btw... i didnt use tampons for about a year and omgosh when my friend made me use one...it was the best thing that ever happened to me! you dont know what you are missing! they feel soo much better than pads always sticking to you! and it doesnt hurt, i mean after you have used them a while you get used to it and its like it itsnt even there! but sometimes it will get a lil sore, but nothing to cry about! good luck!

umm.. well i use tampons when i go out and stuff... like during the day.. unless im at home then i dont use them i use pads.. well i cant feel my tampon.. but i think tampons are easier when you are outta the house.. i've had my period for about two years now... but i just started tampons during my pool party birthday... like in october.. shaa..

I am definately a pad girl myself. I use Always Maximum Protection all the time. I use either the Maxi Pad version or the Ultra Thin version depending on what I am doing. I like the feeling of the thicker pad, especially when my period is very heavy, but sometimes I use the Ultra Thin since they don't show through my pants as much. The wings are the best I have ever seen as well.

pads when i'm home, tampons when i'm out. i used to be TERRIFIED of tampons, but i had to swim one day and decided to get over it. it took a while to get used to, but now i think they're a lot more comfortable than pads. and they don't get stuck, so don't worry (yes, i used to be afraid of that too)

I use both, but most of the time I wear Kotex Long Super thick maxipads. When I am at school I usually wear both a Playtex Sport tampon with the maxi pad on a heavy day. For cheerleading i'll usually wear just tampons with a pantyliner, and to bed i usually wear a Kotex Overnite. When I am at home i will usually just wear one of my usual maxipads.

Dang Jenn, that's a lot, . My mom would kill me for spending so much money just for pads. But I'm glad that u posted this topic because honestly, right now I'm on my period and I just don't like pads but I'm also afraid of tampons. Oh well, I'll see wat happens.

I mainly use pads, usually thick ones that are long+. I'm not a big fan of ultrathins, I'm not sure why. I'm never self-conscious about my period, so I don't see a reason to use them and they're not that much more comfortable than thick ones. Not that there's anything wrong with them, I just prefer my thick pads that has more absorbancy than the thin ones. I think the thick ones, since they take up more space 'down there' s keep it tighter to the body while wearing regular panties. I know some girls who wear extra tight ones during their period to keep the pad closer, but I'd rather rely on the pad to do the work.
I do use tampons, but for swimming or a combination of pad/tampon when I really think I need it. Long classes, conference, road trips, etc.
For pads, I mainly use Kotex and Always and O.B for tampons.
Tampons can get stuck, but it is very rare, usually due to a medical condition. Only a malstructured vagina could cause that and that would be a health concern that should've been taken care of by a gyno/dr first. Only if you jammed a tampon up there could you get it stuck and you probably would feel a lot of pain before that happened.

I only wear pads...they totally feel gross when they are wet but I just won't use tampons. So I can't say anything about them getting stuck....I wouldn't know.

God Damnit. What is this nonsense? No I'm not telling you what I use on my period. You're going far too personal. Big DEAL! You are making a post that has too much sexual content. Girls, don't answer this. Don't feel like you have to give out this information because of your pride in being a girl as far as a good reputation. This is probably some sort of nonamountable post. I'm not giving advice on something stupid as this, because this isn't a good question for advice. Mainly, I'm on here to teach my experience to other teenagers. How in the hell is this going to end up in a normal converstaion without going across the line. Normally nobody would ask this to another female in a social conversation. Why was this conversation made in the first place to get other teenage females to give something crazy as this. I'd be humiliated if someone asked this to me. Jeez, why do you give out something like this. The, another guy I saw on here comes back and says that he is tired of the nonsense of the bleeding and pain and feminine hygiene products you use. I can agree with him. It is ridiculous and if we could come on here with a normal conversation about something you're not sure of, then the Heavy Flow and PMS page wouldn't be filled with nonsense. Shouldn't this come second nature. Every woman is an individual when it comes to protection. Solving the conflict when it comes to menstrucation is second nature as I said. No one is going to know what the hell you wear unless you tell them in public or online. Why does everyone need to know about what a woman uses on her time of month. Why not accept it, because you're going to deal with it until between the ages of 45-60. Maybe if you gals force yourself mentally to get up and move some, then the better of you'll be in the next 40 years. Sometimes, I force myself mentally and remember that I have a job to go to that is very important and others depend on me and after I move around, then the fatigue goes away, and I get focused for the day. Menstruation isn't apocalypse. It's a part of life. You may feel cavalcade here and there, but think about something that'll get you going, and you can enjoy your day. It's frustrating to hear Twenty year olds whine about this over and over again and you can get through your day. I can you get the mental stability. I'm with it. Sometimes, it takes a little motivation from others. Really, you don't have to ask what we use to try different products off of people. Try what you think might be best and use it, so we don't have any more nonsense on here.

I use pads the most. Every woman is an idividual but on my personal preference, pads are most comfortable. Yes, tampons can get stuck and most experts say they can't. Until you're ready I wouldn't suggest it. Though, it is okay to try them out for awhile. Who knows, you might like it the first time. I hope you get over your quandary and fear.

I definatly use TAMPONS more than pads. they are more comfortable and they are extremly small and great for many sports, especially water sports. Don't worry if people tell you it hurts, it may the first time,. but if you relax you will be fine!!! email me if you need more answers!!! im fine with that hun!!!
