| Well, they work for most people. In my case, I'm allergic to any nuts, including peanuts, excluding coconut. I keep some on hand in case of an emergency. If I were at school, I pack my own lunch. Since I don't keep an epinephrine auto-injector at school, they'd get Fire and Rescue, including the Sheriff's Office and State Police, because someone would've put it near me to have a reaction, so they'd have to go off to jail, while Rescue Squad takes me in outpatient. In my case as an individual it does work, but for others it may take a stronger dose of epinephrine in the Emergency Room. For the majority, epinephrine (allergy medication.) Some epinephrine s s are also avalible in pills that are a precription (RX) written by a Medical Doctor (MD) or a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and sometimes a Registered Nurse (RN.) As before, epinephrine works for most people, but some don't. To make you feel secure, why not talk to your physician about prescribing epinephrine. | |
