SO many people have scholiosis... it's not gonna affect your modeling career. if it was bad enough that it would affect it, you would have noticed it by now. one of the girls i cheer with has scholiosis and you can see that her back is WAY outta line. you'll be fine

I actually do have scoliosis. I got diagnosed three years ago, and had surgery two years ago. They put in three metal rods, and thirteen metal screws. It hurt a lot, but, I'm now 5 inches taller!

I was told I had it 6 years ago...For 3 years i had to ware a back brace for 20 hours a day for 7 days a week... my freshman year they told me that it had gotten worse and i had to have surgery so I went to a diffrent dr. in DE and I had surgry there.. it was a newer type surgey and everything was so much better then the old way.. the surgry itself and the recovery time. I was in ICU for 1 day and the hospital for a week, I was out of school for a month and then I retured to school i was in a backbrace for 3 more months and then I basicaly returened to normal life style I grew 3 in after surgery and really the only way you can tell is I have 7 scares that aren't even an inch long. It was a lot of pain but it was so worth it..... There isn't anything that a kid without scoliosis can do that I cant beside like skydiving but.. that not safe for anyone But don't worry about it... Actually most ppl have it and just don't know it...Good luck with it and don't get discougered...Good luck with modling too!!

Jessica, hope is never lost for you, my friend. Good things happen to great people like you! Scoliosis can be easily treated considering what you may have. If it is severe, you'll probably need to have a rod in your back but I assume your condition is very mild. Keep dreaming and maybe someday, you'll have the great potential to become a professional model!
