| Last night, the scariest thing in the world happened to me. I went to the mall cause I wanted to buy a cd. I drove to the mall, and I went to the cd store. It turns out that they didn't have the cd that I wanted, but while I was there, I saw my best friend and her dad. So I decided to hang out with her for the rest of the time. After we were done in the music store, we went to Victoria's Secret to buy her sister and her friend birthday gifts. We were looking at the beauty products, and then I decided to wander off. My friend didn't mind, because we always wander off and then come back when we're done. But it turns out that I didn't come back. She got really worried about me and then went to look for me. She thought that I had left, but she knows that I would never leave without saying 'bye'. So she went to customer services to see if she could page me. Security paged me, but I still hadn't come back. When I wandered off, I guess I had blacked out, and just started walking around. I had wandered into a children's store, and I had fainted on a table display of shirts and became unconscious. One of the guys who worked there found me, and got the manager of the store. Then I had been taken out on a stretcher and taken in an ambulance to the hospital. By the time I woke up, I was in the ambulance. I was so scared, because I didn't know where I was. I finally got to the hospital, and I got rushed to the emergency room. My parents finally came to the hospital after my friend's dad had called my house. My friend and her dad had also come to the hospital as well. While I was at the hospital, I had to get lots of blood work done (I had to have 3 needles in me. 1 in my right arm, 1 in my left arm, and 1 in my right hand.) and I had to have a cat scan done on my head. Well, it turns out that I had had a seizure in the mall. No one knows why I had a seizure, and I was very shocked because I hadn't had a seizure in 10 years. The doctor had to call my neurologist and tell her about what happened. She wasn't there, but another doctor answered the phone. And it also turns out that I have to have A WHOLE BUNCH OF TESTS DONE because of what happend. This all feels like a surreal dream, but when I look down at my arms, I realize that it all really happened. All's I have to say, is that that was so incredibly scary, but I am SO INCREDIBLY THANKFUL that I have such a WONDERFUL family and the most INCREDIBLE best friend in the whole enitre world. Without them by my side, I would've never gotten through my seizure. | |
