| Have any of you ever had surgery for a perforated eardrum? I would like to know more about how much pain there is. | |

| No...I have never had any ear surgery but I do know people who have had the surgery and it is painful when you eat because your ears move up and down when you move your jaw and other muscles in your mouth. | |
