this kid in my school told me the dentist can tell that u smoke weed cuz it makes your teeth turn clear. I'm worried now cuz the tips of my front teeth are clear. my other friend told me that other things can turn your teeth clear too. is he bs-ing me or is this true? if its true, are there any ways to make them not clear again? please  | |

| haha don't worry that's not true. and even if it was, your dentist wouldn't give two shiits on whether or not you smoke pot. its not like he's gonna call your mom into the room and tell her that her child is smoking weed. | |

| i beg to differ...my dentist is weird...i was just there today and im sure as hell that sum dentists would call in your mom....but dont let that hold u back!!!!if youre not high or wearing weedy smelling clothes youre in higher danger than you are at the dentists.mayeb if you are worried abiut it just like dont smoke like for 3 days before you see the dentist!!! | |

| Yeah they can. The only way they can tell though is if you do it a lot, or if you've done it recently and you haven't brushed. I know this because my friend went to the dentist a while back and he asked her if her parents knew that she smoked weed. Of course she denied it. | |

Well, then again, I fell down some concrete stairs (acctually someone 'accidentally' pushed me), and one of my front teeth got chipped, so they put in the fake tooth thigny. You can't tell its fake. It's golden or silver or anything like that, It's just tooth-colored. Whatever, you guys know what i'm talking about | |

| um seriously? If you're that naive about pot, you shouldn't be smoking it. Any kind of smoke makes your teeth turn YELLOW, not clear. I'm sorry but why the hell would you believe that? | |

i recently went 2 the dentist and i know this 4 a fact: they can tell if you smoke...they can't what you smoke. Plaque doesn't like heat and when you have  smoke in your mouth, the plaque cannot grow on your teeth so they are cleaner (yellower, but cleaner), the plaque moves down 2 your gumline which is a sign that you smoke. | |

if you were braces they might notice but they cant tell if its cigarettes o pot but to be safe rinse your mouth out with peroxide

| They probably can tell if you had smoked weed two hours prior to your appointment. I hope they do catch some of the drugs because they can out a lot and make a major impact if anyone has done drugs. If I were smoking marijuana before my appointment, I would want the dentist to catch it so everyone knows that I am safe. However, I have no intentions of smoking or taking any drug. | |

| HAHA i posted this like 4 and a half years ago when i was so bugged out about it. well ive smoked plenty of pot and went to the dentist plenty of times since then and he never said anything. | |
