Less than 2 weeks away from doom!

Sadly, my orthodontist told me I need braces because my teeth are crooked and crowded. So in 13 days I have my appointment to get them on. I am really scared because almost all my friends have had braces and say that they hurt A LOT. One of my friends even had to take an aspirin. I'm also gonna be mad that I can't eat almost anything. Gum is my life and I can't have it.

Gladly, I'm only going to keep my braces for about less than 2 years. I'm also concerned about what colors to use. I really don't wanna be made fun of. But then, who cares, everyone in my school had braces.

I have braces right no. Dont be scared it will just be sore for a week at the most. But on the plus side you can eat a lot of shakes and icecream. But sorry to tell you but it may be longer than 2 years. I was told less than one year and it has been about two and they are still not off. But don't worry about colors just pick your favorites.

I have never had braces and two years sounds an awful long time to have braces in your mouth. I'm sure you must need them and your teeth will look better when they are removed.
