Bed Wetter

I am 15 years old and i wet the bed 2 - 3 times in one week. I haven't told my parents yet, but it is getting harder to hide. I don't want to wear diapers, but I think that I am running out of options.

Once again, I am too embarrassed to tell my parents, because I think that they will flip out. I don't think that I have any health problems, since I was just checked out by a doctor, and he said that I was fine (but I never told him either). Does anyone know what I can do at this point? Do I need to take medicine?

Have you heard of Sleep Enuresis? Seriously, go and see a sleep doc, he will be able to you.

It could be that you have an underdeveloped bladder. You should try not to drink within 2 hours of going to bed and try to go the bathroom as much as you can before bed. If you are embarrassed to tell your parents, you should still tell your doctor in case it could be a medical problem.

I know that it sucks to wet the bed done it before, and I to hid it from my mom, I just wore diapers, and goodnites so it didn't get on the bed, but my cus used to do it to and he took medicine, I only chose diapers b/c I them and the way they feel

There are some medications that can you. I learned all about this is my program. however, if it has just started happening...its more then likely due to any kind of trauma in relation to a bed or abuse, etc or indeed a medical problem. If this has been ongoing since your childhood its called enuresis, (you can look it up for if youd like) there are meds u can take, but its probably better to set your alarm once or twice a night to wake up and go. we use that technique with a kid I work with. Seek professional though, my experience is still limited. 3 ash
