Okay so Ive never gone tanning until the beginning of April. I decided to do this to develop a base as I will be going to cuba soon. Being fair skinned I ALWAYS burn, and I definitely didnt want to get to Cuba, burn the first day and not be able to enjoy my trip. So anyways, I went to the salon my mom's been going to for years and bought like 100 minutes. After the second time going, I had a break out in hives. I thought this was just because I have sensitive skin. I actually have a condition called dermatographia...which basically means very sensitive skin. So I bought some inside tanning lotion for skin that is sensitive, but I have yet to notice a difference. Does anyone else get hives when they tan? Mine have been small, but itchy enough to leave scars. Unless there is a solution to this problem, I think this has been my very first and very last time tanning.

Wow, that really sucks. I have very fair (and sensitive) skin too, and also burn to a crisp when I sit out in the sun. I actually have never gone tanning in my life, but after hearing your experience, I DEFINATELY won't ever go tanning. I hope your skin feels better soon.
