I Don't Know What to Do
I am 15 and have had my period since I was in sixth grade (now in ninth), and I never used to get really sick. But lately I have been getting really dizzy, throwing up, and getting really bad stomach pain. I have taken Midol, and that doesn't work. I just want to curl up in a ball and lay in bed. My mom doesn't let me miss school because of my period, so I just have to sit in class and feel awful. The cramps have kept me up at night and woke me up; they are that bad. I am scared to go to the doctor, and I can't talk to my mom because I just don't like telling her about it because then she gives me lectures and all that about it and EVERYTHING else. I don't know what I can do about it. ALL my friends don't get really sick, and they don't understand. I can't go talk to my teachers about it, but I don't know what I can do. Does anyone ever feel like this, know of something I can do to help, or about telling and dealing with the pain in school and in my classes?

It sounds to me like not only do you have a problem with your periods, but also that you dont have anyone to talk to about it. I think you really do need to see a docter, I know its embarassing, I really do but I dont think that what you are describing is normal.
What about a grandma? whos your best friend? any councillors at school?
But please dont keep it a secret, it could get worse.

I CAN REALLY RELATE TO YA CUZ THAT HAPPENS TO ME BUT NOT EVERYTIME. IT IS AWFUL TO GO THROUGH IT BUT WHEN YOU'RE AT SKOOL, TRY YOUR BEST TO IGNORE THE PAIN AND DON'T LET IT TAKE YOU OVER. AND THEN WHEN YOU GET HOME, BALL UP AND JUS REST. AND THEN ANOTHA THING 2 DO IS DRINK RED WINE. MY GRANDMOTHER TOLD ME THAT AND IT helpS A LITTLE. DRINK IT WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR CYCLE IS ABOUT TO COME ON.
