Bedridden
I am writing this article from my bed as I cannot get up without causing myself excruciating pain. My lower back has been hurting for about three days. It probably wasn't a good idea to workout at the gym when my back was already aching. Anyway, this morning I go to make a cup of tea, and I start to cough really hard. Next thing I know I am on the floor, and there's sugar everywhere. I coughed so hard I threw my back out. After about half an hour I was able to get up and plant myself in my bed. All day I have struggled to move and meet my own basic needs. I've cried because it hurts so badly. I talked to a friend, and he said it is probably either a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle. My mom also said it's a possibility I could have cracked or broken a rib, and that's why it is so painful. I am not one of those people that can stay bedridden long. I get bored and I like to be productive. Plus I have two jobs, go to school and have placement, so I can't afford the time off. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this. What I should do? I'm trying to avoid going to the doctor if I don't have to go. Please ease my pain! Thanks for your help. :)
