Possibly Preggers [Probability is High]
Hi. I'm nineteen years old and have been sexually active for four years. I have also been on the pill for three years. I am going to go into detail, but it is only because I need advice in what I should do and if others think I really may be pregnant.

I have a 24-day cycle and my most recent period started on Nov. 30 of this year. Now, that would put my most fertile days at Dec. 8-10. And guess what I did? I had unprotected sex on the 9th. I know, the whole birth control pill thing, but I was right in the middle of my antibiotic treatment for strep and as you all know [or should know] birth control pills are less effective when you take antibiotics.

At first, pregnancy didn't cross my mind because of being used to being on the pill. Then I started getting light cramping Dec. 14. It has since gone away, but I've also been bloated, a bit nauseas, and my boobs feel heavier than usual. Yes, these are typical PMS symptoms, but I never ever PMS to this degree, and it's about two weeks early.

I don't really need advice on whether or not I should keep the baby because I made up my mind on that matter when I first became sexually active [you could say I over think a little bit.] I just want to know how probable pregnancy is for me and if I should stop taking my Wellbutrin and birth control until I find out.

I would just go get a pregnancy test? I mean, you can think and wonder all you want, but until you go get a test, you're not going to get an immediate answer.

Actually if it is penicillin (which you would normally take for step throat) does not alter the effectiveness of birth control. Only specific antibiotics will do that, and unless your doctor specifically told you that this medication will decrease the effectiveness of your birth control pill(he/she should know that you are on it obviously) they have to tell you. Otherwise, you're probably not pregnant.

i would for sure stop taking your birth control because if you are pregnant the birth control will cause you to have a possible misscarrage i would talk to your doc to find out more
