I'm Irregular
When I started my period, it was easy to tell when it could happen. Now I can't tell when it's going to happen. I usually have my period two times a month. Now it's one or zero times. I don't know when it starts, and when it does I'm not prepared. I don't have my pad or my tampon, and my underwear gets bloody. When I start my period each month or the month after that since I'm irregular, I usually have it from three to eight days, and I get a heavy flow. Please help me.

You know what Courtney. Don't listen to those freaks. They are trying to trick you into the wrong thing. Birth control isn't the solution to periods. All it does is shut the periods off for the women who have extreme mood swings associated with PMS. All these girls would have is breakthrough bleeding and possibly later heart attacks and strokes depending on if it were a natural compound or a laboratory made compound. It is ridiculous why a lot of you girls say about being on birth control. Don't trick younger kids into it or else take a lawsuit.

Don't ask her into taking the pill. She is only thirteen. Courtney, don't listen to these wild girls. They half of the time say what they don't mean. I honestly believe it is a hormonal imbalance when they are menstruating. My suggestion would be if you are beginning to menstruate be prepared because it will be about six months to three years before you are regular. You are only thirteen and there is no reason to take birth control because of the harmful effects. Birth control has not been proven to give you regular periods. Anyway, if you are not sure, ask your mother to take you to your family doctor. She'll be able to give you the expertise and/or councel you need in this condition.

If you want to get regular, you could start taking the pill.

heres an easy way to tell well your period will start remember every girl is different first get a digital thermomitor and a pocket calendar start by taking your temp every morning the first thing when you wake up try to keep it around the same time every day. next record the temp in your pocket calendar my normal temp the day after my period ends is around 97.5 around two weeks after my period ends i see a rise in my temp this tells me im ovulating its ussually around 98.5 to 98.7 thats the best day to try and get pregnant or the days not to have sex if you dont want to get pregnant my higher temp ussually lasts two weeks i will then see a drop back to 97.7 on the first day and 97.5 on the next day when i see the second day of normal temp i know my period will start that day i have been doing this now for two years and the pattern has stayed the same you will need to record your temps and find out what your pattern is for your cycle this could take a few months to see a pattern if you dont mind taking your temp every morning this is a great way to know the exact day your period will start and be ready for it any ???? send me mail thanks tammy and good luck
