Torn Muscles
I was really hurt at a basketball game that I was in. I could barely walk. My dad and someone else had to help me get out to the car when I got out there; my dad brought me to the hospital, and the people at the hospital took an x-ray and told me that they think that I tore my ACL.

I had to go to the hospital the next day for a MRI, and that is what I did; it was not a torn ACL. They said that I tore my meniscus slightly, so they kept me on crutches for about four weeks, and then I was in physical therapy.

Then about two weeks later I was at a pool party. I was in the pool swimming, and all of a sudden my knee went straight out. I could not bend it. It felt so weird, and it hurt. I could not bend it at all, and my friend's mom helped me out of the water and put ice on it. It was really swollen. My dad had my friend's mom and the janitor help me out to the car. He brought me home to tell my mom he was taking me to the hospital and to show her my knee so she could see how bad it was. When she saw it my dad helped me get back out; he carried me out, and then he took me to the bigger hospital this time.

They did a lot of x-rays, and then they knew that I had probably torn my meniscus the rest of the way through, so they put a brace like the mobilizer on. Then they gave me crutches, and they scheduled a appointment for the MRI two days later. It was so much fun... NOT! I HATE THOSE THINGS SO MUCH!

Of course what they found was that I tore it through; I tore it swimming, but of course it would have happened anywhere. The doctors said I had to have surgery. Then I had physical therapy again. Now I am out, and I might even be able to play soccer and other sports they said. Enough said, torn meniscuses suck!

Ouch man! I've had torn muscles in my stomach before to where I could barely walk. One time I was falling off of the mountain and torer my muscles for five miles just covering my head after I had fallen for three miles. The next day, my stomach, hips, and legs were so sore for two weeks to where I had trouble walking. I've never torn my ACL but I was lucky to stand up alive. I really could've hurt myself bad but in exchange, I received torn muscles and that was about it. Let me tell you that it was not fun at all!

Ouch. I've only had pulled muscles, mostly in my feet. Sorry you had to go through this; I know it hurt.
