Worst Experience Ever
I don't understand it. I've had sore throats my whole life. I mean nothing severe because I would still go to school and everything. I've only had strep once in my whole life. It wasn't a day in the park or anything, but getting my tonsils out was pure hell.
I had my tonsils out Monday, July 30th, and it's now August 5th. I haven't eaten anything the entire week. I don't understand how it's possible. I'm really dehydrated. I seriously am the most miserable person ever. I had my adenoids out too at the same time. Everyone keeps talking about how after about three days people are up and running again. All I do is cry.
The scabs in the back of my throat I think are about halfway off, and no matter what I drink, even if it's one sip of water, I start crying because it feels like someones rubbing salt all over an open sore in the back of my throat. I don't know what to do. I can't not eat for another day. I'm so hungry. I mean, this seriously has been the worst week of my entire life. I'd rather have the sore throats.
My tongue is all white from being dehydrated, and it's just insane. I have the worst breath from the scabs. I think I should go to the doctor. Getting my tonsils out is probably the worst decision I've ever made.
