Back Pimples
I am really grossed out that I get huge red pimples on my back and they ALWAYS leave scars!  I try not to pick at them and I put a ton of on the spot treatments on them, but they stay for a few weeks and after they're gone they leave a scar so I can't really go out and wear stuff that shows off my nasty spotted scarred back.  It's very sad.  I even use Neutrogena's exfoliating body wash and it has helped a little, but I still break out!  My face is pretty clear, but pimples on your back are harder to get rid of because the skin is thicker and the topical medicines are for your face, which has a much thinner skin than your back.  AHH!  I wish I would stop scarring and I could wear really cute tops that show off my back.  Help!

Try using a medicated body wash. I know that neutragena has one that they make. I am sure that there are other brands that work. Also make sure that you shower after you work out, sweat can play a part in acne on your back.

I understand how you feel, but don't let that put you too cavalcade because of a few pimples. Don't pop those blemishes if they are too big. You might want to get an appointment with a dermatologist. She could give you a prescription substance that you rub on your back to reduce the size until they're gone. I'm not a doctor, but what he/she says is for your own good. Take Care!

Neutragena Body Clear Body Scrub. Miracle in a bottle. But you have to give it time. It takes awhile.

GO TO THE DERMATOLOGIST! I promise they have miracle medications that cleared mine right up. Tetracycline is what you probably want. The down side is that you have to take it two-four times a day on an empty stomach but it DOES work. And it's only 10$. Doctors claim it causes light sensitivity but I've gone tanning plenty of times while taking it and nothing happened. Solodyn is complete sh*t. my doctor gave it to me. Without insurance it's 450$. It's funny how the cheaper stuff works better. And also benzaclin is another perscription thing that works well.

a couple of my friends had the same problem!
One of them bought the Proactiv back body wash or something like that and it worked wonders! Her skin cleared up great and my other friend went to a dermatologist who gave her pills and that worked great also! Both are wonderful solutions to your problem but I think the pills definitely worked faster. Whatever you feel more confortable with you may want to at least try to see if they work for you. Good luck!
