A Lesson Learned
I've learned from watching others that I should not drink, and if I ever do, that I should do it with people I know and who will not mess with me. My friend taught me this very important lesson.

Our prom was last month and since it was our senior prom, everyone was really excited. A friend got a huge hotel suite for the night so we all went there to party afterward. The hotel was on the beach, so we went out there before going into the room. Before we even hit the beach, cops swarmed the hotel. Apparently someone else's party got raided (LOL @ THEM!), and we sat there and watched the cops go all over the hotel and seriously just break into rooms. It was funny.

Anyway, we went to our suite where there was no alcohol at first, anyway. Later on, as more people came, they brought alcohol with them. One of my best friends, let's call him Ed, decided to start drinking. He didn't ever really drink, so he didn't really know how much he could tolerate. He was starting to get emotional because he figured it would be the last time a big group of us got together.

He started tossing back the alcohol, vodka to be specific. I had no idea what he was doing. In fact, we had only been in the room for like twenty minutes when he said he thought he was drunk. I thought he was kidding. He tried to get up and like stumbled and had to be helped to get something to drink. It was so funny. At that point I realized that we had to get him to slow down, but it didn't work. As long as he could see the alcohol, he wanted it.

After a while, he started screaming at people to give him hugs. Everyone did at first, but then he started getting a little friendly with the hugs. I got groped twice before I realized that I should avoid him. In fact, he kissed a girl and made her so mad that she shaved off his eyebrow after he finally went to sleep.

People did so many things to him after he slept. There was the eyebrow shaving, pouring cocktail sauce on him, melting cheese onto his skin, and drawing on him in permanent marker. It was awful. I would walk by every once in a while to see what they were doing, and if it was really bad, I would stop them, but for the most part, I let it go. He needed to learn not to drink so much.

The next morning, he woke up still drunk. He went and butchered his other eyebrow. He threw up. It was gross, but after a few hours he was better.

Now, just talking about vodka makes him sick. I'm glad he learned this now, before he gets to college where alcohol is more readily available.
