Everybody thinks getting an TREATABLE STD is the end of the world. Well it's not. You just need to get tested. I contracted two TREATABLE STDs and I felt that when I went to school, even though no one knew, they were all staring and judging. But I realized that it is going to go away. I'm going to be clean agian, and no one knows. Now please don't label me as a dirty person, it was my 1st time having sex, and dummy me trusted the guy and didn't use a condom. Girls and guys, please be safe and know that a TREATABLE STD is not all that bad.

Janine. Genital warts and HPV aren't treatable but they can go away. Your body can fight the infection and make it go away. It's not true in all cases though.

hey, any std is bad... you can give it to people because you can be contagious before you have visible symptoms and even if it was your first time, that was pretty stupid not to use a condom... i'm sorry but I thought it was well known that you can die from an std... death condom... hard choice

what if you get something that isn't treatable like genital warts or HPV?
