My Friend's Itch

My friend has a problem with her vagina. It itches bad and she has yellow stuff on her panties that has a weird smell. My friend says to put Vicks vapor rub on it. I think this might hurt? Help, it itches. Has anyone ever had this problem? Will it go away, or should she try the Vicks? She can't tell her mom because then she might know she has been having sex. I am afraid for my friend; she is really sad. Is this from sex? Will she get a disease? Is this common? Can you ask your mom what I should do? If I tell my mom, she will make me break up with my boyfriend. I think I love him.

It sounds like a yeast infection. It really isn't such a big deal because all you have to do is get an over-the-counter kit that has proper medication to treat yeast infection.

Deff sounds like a YI and thats no big deal, it just sucks. You can get it from sex, not washing good enough, tight pants, dirty panties, wet bathing suits, even something like taking antibiotics does it. Everytime I take antibiotics I get a YI. Tell ur mom. Its embarassing but it happens. Go to the store and get a package of Monistat. The 7 day treatment is better than the 1 day....trust me on that, I grew up with 5 girls in my house. Its a little egg thinggy that u stick in ur what what and lay down for a while (it also comes with a cream that u rub on the outside where it itches) I do it right before I go to sleep so I don't got to get up. Now, if it doesn't get better after the treatment u gotta get ur moms to take u to the doctor because it could be something more serious......but it really just sounds like a Yeast Infection.

It deffinetly sounds like a yeast infection. You can tell your mom because anyone can get a yeast infection, from different things. All you have to do is go to the store and get some yeast infection medicen to cure it. If it doesnt go away then you might need to go to the doctor, because if you notcie on the box it says if its your first time having a yeast infection you might need to go to the doctor. Its not really a big deal if thats all it is.

it kinda sounds like a yeast infection to me.. But really, you should go to the doctor because there's a million different things it could be. I would definitly try some monistat though.

Is this your friend's problem or yours? Either way, the symptoms need to be checked. If you think you're ready for sex, you should be responsible for all possible outcomes.
