Ouchhh :[
I'm fourteen, and I have soar throats like all the time. I have what I think might be tonsil stones and tonsilitis.

For the tonsil stones, I always have like these little hard white things that are on my tonsils and like in little pockets on my tonsils. I cough them up all the time, and they taste horribly like snot. :[

Then I always have a soar throat, more like at least three times a year. It's not a big deal, but when I do get them, they are AWFUL and last at least two weeks.

My left tonsil is huge and always has the little white tonsil stones, and my right tonsil is really small and looks like a honeycomb. It's all cratery like something's eating it. Yuck, gros I know!

Then the past two days I've had a horrible soar throat. My mom made me shove a flashlight down my throat (you know what I mean), and I have white puss. Those stone things and my throat is really red. This is when I first noticed my honeycomb crater tonsil. She thinks I should get my tonsils out, and I'm terribly scared.

If you can give me information about the tonsil stone thing and my honeycomb tonsil or what it's like to get my tonsils taken out, PLEASE comment. E-mail me or something!

Hey, I have the same problem with the white stones in your tonsils. They're called tonsi iths, and they're just little collections of white blood cells that get caught in the liitle crevices of your swollen tonsil. I've gone to the doctor for this twice now. I might be getting them removed, but I'm not sure. Those things do smell really bad, and it sucks trying to cough them up.
