Why My Doctor Never Saw This
For the past month and a half I've been having problems with my throat and ears and been missing a lot of school. As normal, my parents took me to the doctor. Every time we went, my family doctor told me nothing was wrong, and I would get over it in a few days.

Just last Tuesday we went to a specialist for throat and ears, and they told me I need to have my tonsils out and tubes put in my ears! I'm very scared! Why didn't my family doctor see this a long time ago? It makes me so mad because I've been going through this pain long enough, and my doctor should've seen something.

My tonsils are huge! He must not know what he's doing if he didn't see anything. As soon as I went into the office with the specialist, they told me something was wrong. I just don't get it!

Anyway, finally, I'm having my surgery in two days. I'm more scared than ever, but I'm waiting for this to be over with so I can return to school and be able to have fun again without being in so much pain!

Don't worry, When I had to get mine taken out, I was scared too! But as soon as they put me to sleep, I woke up, and it felt like a second. ;) It was very sore the first night, and my Grandmother that had hers out, she had to talk to me with out me talking. I was tough enough to handle it.

dont worry. surgery is fine these days. like the person below mandy said. modern medicine these days do a lot.

i was doing this biking tour ,much like the tour de france, but less "popular" and i fell. guess what? SURGERY!

ahaha it was fine. the doctor was like, do you want to sleep? i said. yea ok.
he said. just breathe deeply. [this mask thing]

before i knew it, i was sleeping. man..that was the best sleep ever. .

i woke up and the first thing i said was... when is the surgery going to start?

the doctor said...what surgery? youve been sleeping for 4 hours already.
turns out the surgery ended 4 hours ago.

so dont worry :D

im that doctor's friend now. we both go out biking on our free time. haha.

does anybody have one of those SanDisk Sansa e250R Rhapsody 2GB MP3 Players? I want to know if it fits with a nano skin or cover. Also I might get a SanDisk Sansa m240 1GB MP3 Player... which is better. I really don't know which one to get I know this might not go in this catagory but I need to know with in 3 hrs 'cause my mom is at best buy waiting for the first year. It is the only way I can get an ipod. I heard the e205 is just like an ipod nano.
if any of you have an ipod could you tell me the dimensions of the skins, socks, or cover.
could you please send me the answer through the "e-mail" on this thing. thank you so much......(oh, I put this same message on many pages so that nobody thinks I am plagerizing or something.)

thanks

As the person said below me, doctors are people too and are capable of making mistakes. However, if you went back several times and he still couldn't find anything wrong when a specialist picked it out immediately as you said then somethings up. Either he didn't actually do the thorough scan as required or he's not been educated enough to know what to look for. Whatever the reason, you might want to get a second opinion next time you visit him.

As for the surgery, don't worry about it. With modern medicine they'll have you fixed up in no time without any worries.

That is pretty weird, because family doctors are supposed to have a general knowledge of a little bit of everything. Did he refer you to the specialist? If so, he did his job as needed. Then again, doctors are human too. I'm glad you found out what was wrong before it got too bad. Glad luck with your surgery!
