16 Shots Too Many!
This past summer I got drunk for the first time. I'm only 13, but I hang out with mostly high-schoolers, so I got dragged into the drinking thing. I refuse to smoke because I simply just think it's pointless. I've only gotten drunk I'd say about five or six times, but one of those times I went WAY too far.

It was my first time taking shots, and nobody told that when you take shots, it takes a while for you to actually feel it. I kept taking shot after shot until I felt it. And by that time, I was at SHOT #16! I was totally wasted, and after a few minutes I passed out.

I was told by my friend in the morning that once I passed out I fell off her pool table and started vomiting on the ground. My friend said that she tried getting me up to walk to the bathroom, but I was unconscious from hitting my head on her basment floor. She also said I threw up numerous more times, and she was scared out of her mind. She had no idea what to do while I'm laying passed out on her floor after drinking too much alcohol. She was considering calling the hospital, but she knew her mom would be SO mad. She didn't know what else to do but cry. But after all the puking and crying she fell asleep.

In the morning we woke up with the worst hang-overs EVER! After hearing this story when I woke up, I realized how dangerous alcohol can be. And being that I only weigh 103 pounds, I consider myself lucky that I didn't lose my life. Ever since that night I haven't had more than one drink! I'm not saying I'll never drink again, but I'm warning all you young teens, PLEASE be responsible drinkers. Another question: Has anyone ever had a serious drinking experience like this?

Gosh this sounds so similar to something that happened to my sister who was sixteen at the time.
She was staying at her friend's house for a vacation and she ended up passing out from drinking. She had alcohol poisoning which is when theres more alcohol than blood in ur body and she kept vomiting.
Her so called "best" friend didnt want to bring her to the hospital b/c she too was afraid of getting in trouble b/c her parents werent home.
Thankfully two girls my sister knew and two guys brought her to the hospital that night. If they hadnt she would've most likely died.
She too had a small frame and was prob around 103 too.
Just b careful.
Even one or two drinks can lead to trouble...

Ok, let me share some real life experience with you if you dont mind? My mother WAS an alcoholic - was because she DIED from alcohol related heart problems. And your probably like, well she was an alcoholic, I just drink. BUT in case you didnt know alcohol is addictive, and from starting at your age, it is sooo much more easier to get addicted...and trust me it ruins your life and the lives of those around you. And you said your freind didnt call the hospitol --- I dont mean to sound mean or rude and no offence to your friend... but what kind of friend is like that? she was worried about getting in TROUBLE (which is the 1st sign that you shouldnt have even been drinking at least not at that friends house)...and so she was MORE worried about that than the fact that you had passed out and were puking and could die? That sounds a little too messed up. And if you want to drink - jsut know what it can do to you - how it can ruin your life, and btw just a little bit of info alcohol is a depressant so watch out for that in future times. And if you want to drink...go ahead but be smart about it and dont just chug everything in site - thats NOT smart ... and again I really dont mean to sound mean at all, I just have really strong opinions about it since my mom died from it.

i was 16 years old and i was drinking a lot. a giant bottle of vodka to be exact. now, being 2'11" and 20 pounds, that is really dangerous. no one noticed how much i was drinking until it was too late. i was just pouring some into a cup and drinking it and then pouring more and more. soon the whole bottle was gone. my friends told me i was vomiting so much so they called 911. i woke up in the hospital with a no headache and with my parents and 9 siblings at my bedside. they told me i should be dead and to NEVER drink like that again. not only that, but i was out cold for 9 days! the doctors were trying to tube feed me but i was vomiting everything. i was unable to move, but i had to be weighed so my brother carried me to the scale. it was horrifying to learn that i was 12 pounds! now i am 18 and a half, 2'11" and 20 pounds once again. i will never drink that much again. i have gotten drunk after that but it wasnt that bad. i am so happy to be alive!
