Wanted: A Diet That Works!
I am not going to give out my weight, age, or height, but I will tell you my eating habits. I am not a breakfast person, but my mom makes me eat breakfast on school days or whenever we wake up early. I am not that big on junk food, but I do have a sweet tooth. I eat ice cream every night after I eat dinner (my favorite is Mayfield Birthday Cake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough).

I try to eat healthy; I even started drinking diet sodas and eating salads (sometimes). I got very sick last year and lost about 17 pounds, but unfortunately I have gained most of it back. I want to lose 10-15 pounds, but the problem is my mom. I also want a diet that my mom won't notice much difference in my eating habits. Thanks for any advice given. ^_^

Ok, I am sure this won't work for everyone, but I used to eat ice cream every night after dinner, but I was doing super competitive swim team 6 days a week, so I was super slim, and muscular, but I quit two years ago, and I still have maintained a good weight. This is how. First of all, I almost never have ice cream now. I only have it on special occasions. I eat normal sized meals, and I take 3 dance classes, that help keep me fit. I am not big on fruits and veggies, I :) them don't get me wrong, but I have habits to eat other things. I have been working hard to not eat too much sugar, and it is paying off! I wear a size 0 or 1 slim, and I do treat myself to the occasional chocolate, so I have learned I don't really need the extra ice cream.

Also, sodas are the worst!!! My friend drank a soda every day with her lunch for 2 months, and she gained 10 lbs. She wasn't eating ANY other sugar (that I know of) so my point is, try to cut down on as much soda as possible, even diet!

To cut back on the sodas, drink fruit juice. It helps a lot. Also, eat healthier foods for breakfast, such as granola cereals and fruit. Exercise a little bit whenever you have some spare time. For instance, if you like to watch TV a lot, there are tons of commercials. Take those breaks to do different exercises for a little while. It may not be a whole lot, but it does help. Set aside about twenty minutes to do other exercise or jog if possible. You don't even have to jog - walking helps too, but walk at a quick pace.

I :) to drink soda, but I try to limit myself to one a week, and only if it is caffiene free (If I'm stressed or if I've been good, I drink a pepsi hehe). I :) icecream too, but make that a once a week treat. Or, if you can't seem to let it go, switch to something a little healthier like sherbet or frozen yogurt. Drink Gatorade! It's sweet and yummy but it's also very, very good for you.

There are lots of very healthy foods out there that are good for you that taste great, you just have to find them.

Jog every other day, cut out sodas all together.. i've done it, and its incredibly easy. diet pop actually makes you hungrier, causing you to eat more, and gain more weight. try drinking crystal light, so your not just lmited to water. eat well portioned meals, like in tv dinners, and when you feel like snacking grab some fruit.
