Bad Sleeping Habits
I've had a lot of problems with sleep. Whether it's falling asleep, waking up at various times in the night on the nights I do get to bed, or waking up earlier and earlier each morning. It's starting to really take a toll on me when it comes to concentrating. And people have commented on how tired I look and my parents say that I'm looking worse. You're not supposed to tell your daughter that. I'm already on a lot of medications, but none are for sleep. Personally I really hate the idea of being on meds and handling another one just seems overwhelming. I'm a little scared of taking sleeping pills too because I've heard of how easily people become dependent on them and how it's not good for your REM cycles. It's so scary to not be able to sleep for hours on end and not being able to go anywhere. I just start running around the house trying to get my mind off of it. I'm so fed up with this.

that sounds like a sleeping disorder...maybe narcolepsy....or it could be that you stop breathing in the middle of the night, several times, which takes a toll on your system and the amount of sleep you get. you might wanna research it, because both are serious disorders, however both very treatable.

Keep a regular sleep pattern and be in bed only 8 hours every night. Rozerem would be a good medication and is non addictive. See a Sleep Specialist.
