What Have You Heard?

Alright, I have been hearing a lot of things lately about Tampax Pearl tampons. Personally I like them becuase they work really well. But I've heard that girls shouldn't use them because they tend to fall apart or shred a little bit while it's inside of you. I do not want peices of cotton or whatever they use to absorb but I am pretty sure that it's not good. That's really scary and I want to know if anyone's heard about this or if my friends are just full of it. I've never heard about this on TV or anything so if you know anything, it would help me out! Thanks so much for all of your help.
