Workout By Music: Diet by ? (Help!)
Hey guys! I have discovered a new way to workout and stay motivated. Okay, maybe it isn't new, but it is very cool. What you do is workout by music; not just listen to music, but actually use the music to workout to.
What you do is grab your iPod, MP3 player, PSP, CD player, or whatever, and go to where you usually workout. Instead of doing a set number of whatever, you do it to a song. Like you could do "Move Along by the All American Rejects" crunches, or "Face to Face by Special D" leg lifts. The thing with this, is if you finish before the song ends, you'll probably feel bad about it and decide to continue. I've been getting a 45-minute workout this way for the past few days, and it actually is working. I lost three pounds within three days, and it's working great. I stay motivated and want to continue to do it.
Now here is my problem. I need a diet to fit with my workout. I'm afraid that just the workout won't be enough to continue losing the weight, especcially when swim practice is cut down for summer swimmers who are out of shape next week. I'm 5'6" and 14 years old. I'm 144 pounds, which is still a healthy weight, but I want to lose the rest of my fat. My thighs are huge, although my waist is rather small. So, does anyone have any ideas for a diet that makes you lose weight, while still is filling? I know, at 14 I shouldn't be thinking of going on a diet, but I just don't want my weight to catch up with me later on in life. Plus, my thighs are completely huge. So anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
