Is It a Curse or a Benefit?

It all started when I was 13. Lucky number, aye. What I am diagnosed with is what they call absence seizures. Although, my seizure experiences have stretched through them all. There have been times on the influence of drugs that I have droppped to the floor with out muscle reflex.

Also, there have been times where I would dream of it the day before. Who would think you could predict it? Another couple of occasions I have woken up feeling like there is a third presence looking at me, but in the the state paralyzation, you can't really do anything about it. Through this experience I have to need the most scared, because I heard multiple voices screaming, all female though. But the most often ones I have are just one to three second stares/daydreams.

But my question really is, do seizures have a connection with ideas and creativity? I know I'm above average, and I would like to hear from anyone who had experiences along the same lines.

that sucks. I have whiteouts, and If I move too much, I crash to the floor. It has gotten me more the one concussion in my life... It also prevents me from driving.

Hi. I also have epilepsy. I had a brain tumour when I was a baby and it was removed, but I now have epilepsy because of the scar that remains on my head from the surgery. I also have abscense seizures. I actually had one today when I was in school. One minute I was perfectly fine taking notes, and the next minute, my head is down, I'm zoned, and I hear all these EMT's talking to me as I'm being put on a stretcher and being driven away to the hospital. I personally think it is a curse. I hate it. Epilepsy and seizures absolutely SUCK!

Hi. I was diagnosed with epilepsy back in january. And doing fine. Epilepsy is the condition where you have seizures. Actual seziures ALthough doing research on absence seizures I have finaly found a life question to what I have wanted to know all my life. I would stare off to space anything it oculd be anything. And I would have like a thought about something that some said to me or soemthing that has happend in the past. And I couldnt do anything about it. I would just sit there. After words I would feal really wired with a wired fealign in my stomach. Sometimes I would get a headache. I am doing fine. And try not to think about it.
