Ever Since I Started Shaving My Legs, They Look...
like this. They are red and darker than my skin tone. The tiny bumps on my legs look from afar like I don't shave but I do. All I want is them to be less noticeable. Can somebody recommend a product for me to try? They seem irritated and all rashy. Maybe a cheap razor or cream, I don't really know! I don't even know if this a known skin condition. Can anybody tell me what it might be caused from or what it's called? I am so embarrassed to wear shorts or skirts and stuff. Even a dress with knee highs is a no for me these days! I know they aren't noticeable in the sunlight at all or I think if I got a tan, they wouldn't be there. I can hope lol.

You could have a razor burn. If you were using cream, your skin is sensitive to it.

I have the same problem too. I asked my doctor about it and she told me it was 'folliculitis' or something like that. They told me to use a MEN's electric shaver and they perscribed me some kind of green pill for two weeks to clear up the spots and they perscribed me a lotion to use every time I get out of the shower. The pills worked while I was on them, but when they were done, the spots came back. This was over a year and a half ago and now the spots are so bad they turn in to scabs and leave scars. I just recently stopped using the men's shaver and went back to disposable razors and use hair condition as shaving cream because it puts aloe and vitamin e back into your skin. I don't trust doctors at all and I refuse to go back again. I went and saw a second doctor like 6 months after I was first perscribed everything and she looked at my legs like they were the most disgusting thing she ever saw and asks me "What is this?" So now, I'm not only paranoid about my legs, but I refuse to go to any sort of doctor for any kind of check up.
