Embarrassment Rash
I have a rash that comes when I am nervous or have an high emotion. It is honestly such a huge problem; it goes on my chest, neck, arms and for me, if something is terribly upsetting (like one time I thought my dad was going to die), and I got it on my back and thighs too.
I am in nursing school, and I learned about it. The teacher said that it usually happens with people that are lighter skinned (I'm not even that light though), and it's because for some reason your blood rushes there when you get anxious, nervous, excited, scared, etc. (any high emotion); just like when people's faces get red.
I hate it too for the fact that I can't wear low cut shirts. The weird thing is, I'll even get in on the phone if I'm on with someone that I like or something (like this one guy I was interested in). In high school it was really bad, and I got it at lunch a lot. But now that I am in college, it's getting better. I find that the more I have confidence in myself, the more it doesn't come. For instance, giving a speech it will come. But if I am just with like a best friend it won't come.
I wish there was something more I could do! Any advice? Oh yeah, I even went to the doctors for it, and he said there's nothing to do about it. It's just a sort of blushing, but all over. When I go tanning, the less noticeable it is, although you can still see it.
