What's Going On?
I started "fainting" when I was about 8 years old but I was told it was because I wasn't getting enough nutrition or not eating enough in general. It only happened about 4 or 5 times as a kid and it stopped at age 9.

Then, I decided to give blood when I was 18 in high school. I weigh more than enough but I'm still pretty small (muscle?). Nonetheless I was fine with the whole process until I "fainted" after it was all over.

A few months later I randomly "fainted" again in biology class. My teacher used to work in hospitals and clinics and she told me I looked like I was having a seizure when I woke up. She said my eyes were still somewhat open but rolled back into my head and I was shaking or trembling. The only things I remember about all of my episodes are that I feel absolutely horrible right before and I know it's going to happen. Then everything fades out and I feel so peaceful and I usually have a quick dream. When I wake up I'm terrified because I have no clue where I am or anything and it takes several seconds for me to remember.

I feel them start coming on a lot but if I lay down they usually go away. I eat prefectly fine now. I also found out my brother was actually diagnosed with seizures but there is nothing anyone can do about it. He knows when they come on too and let's them come.

So are they seizures or faintings? I'm kind of worried. Thank you so much.

im not sure it is difficult to say. from what your teacher said about them it sounds like epilepsy. to find out ask you doctor if you can a CAT scan, EEG scan or MRI scan (these are accurate scan that will let you know if you have it or not). all the best of luck for you and i hope i have helped. want anymore info on seizures or epilepsy then contact me via my e-mail which is yetinyone87@ hotmail.co.uk
