The Worst Pain I've Ever Had
I woke up at about 4:30 in the morning on Valentine's Day with a severe pain in my lower left side. The pain was so unbearable. At first, I just thought it was a cramp or maybe I just needed to go to the bathroom. After about fifteen minutes I finally got the strength to get up and go to the bathroom. It hurt so bad I couldn't even pee. Then I went back and laid down to see if it would go away.
After about fifteen more minutes I had the strength to go to my mom's room and tell her. Then it was about 5:00 and my mom was like we need to go to the emergency room. So there we went to the emergency room in pajamas and all. When we got there they gave me some pain medicine and did a CAT scan and a X-ray. They diagnosed me with kidney stones.
Two days later I went back and they said the same thing, but this time gave me some pain medicine to take home. On April eighth, I go to the kidney doctors, and my mom said they might want to do surgery and I'm very scared. I've never had surgery or anything like that in my life. I just wanted to know if there is anyone who has ever had kidney stones taken out by surgery, and how bad was it?
