Unbearable Kidney Stone Pain
A month ago, October 26th, to be exact, I woke up with this extremely bad pain on my left side to above my hip bone. I was in tears, restless, and throwing up acid every five minutes. That lasted three hours until I went to the ER. They did X-rays and CAT scans. Then, they diagnosed me with a kidney stone. They gave me painkillers, IV with medicine in it, and sent me on my merry-way.

Everything was cool. Until almost three weeks later, I got the pain again. I was shaking with really bad chills. I took two 500mg Vicadins, but those didn't help at all. Then I got sent to the ER again. They told me that my stone was almost out of the uterus and into the bladder.

So a week or so after that, I was on my field trip. It started hurting really bad at 9:45 am. I laid in the bathroom until twelve, thinking I was passing it because it hurt really bad when I urinated. Then they went to eat. I got extremely bad on the way home so the bus had to drive me to the ER. They gave me a shot of painkillers that stopped it. Then they did a CAT scan. The stone was in the bladder, but my whole uterus tube is inflammed.

But it hurts really bad when I urinate. The doctor said two days ago that I didn't have a Urinary Tract Infection, but I think I might. Did this ever happen to any of you? Please share your stone stories with me.

OMG!!! I had kidney stones for almost a year and it was the most painul thing i have ever gone through
!! I have been told that they are more painful then child birth. I was diagnosed with kidney stone after i was in the ER 4 times already with the same pain! they told me it was a bladder infection...right. So anyways... i had all the CAT scans and x-rays an stuff nd they found 16 stones!! OUCH! so i was able to pass 15 of them which were excrutiatingly painful but one got stuck in my ureteur. I has to have a cystoscopy and lit hotripsy. That was unpleasent but better then the stones! I was in the ER a total of 9 times in one year and i was puking and uncontrollably shaking and freezing cold! it was terrible! i think you probably did have a UTI cuz my doc said te tests come back as positive for a UTI evenn if you dont have one just from the composure of the stones. I feel for ya girly! i know the pain you are going through! my best suggestion is to have it taken care of before you have anothe attack. Dont talk to your regular doc cuz they know nothin bout kidneys, go to a urologist, they specilize in kidney, bladder, and urinary tract problems...the worst thing that will happen is that you need lit hotrisy which isnt as scary as it sounds!
