My Nose Has Got To Go!
I have some really bad allergies and my nose is really killing me.  So as most teenagers do, I use Afrin nose medication. This medication, for those of you who are not aware of this, is quit addicting. My friend, not too long ago, got a nose job partly because she had a big nose and partly because the doctor said that Afrin really messed up her nose inside.

Anyway, now I came having similar issues. If I don't use Afrin I can't breath, but if I do use Afrin I am going to have to get a nose job to get my nose fixed up. Do you know any helpless medication I can take to relief my nose issue?  Please help me.

Nothing applies to everyone! Your friend may have thinner skin or more sensitive skin than you. She may have used the spray more often or too much. Maybe her nose just had a low tolerance for it. You will most likely not have to get a nose job. The FDA would not approve of Afrin if it caused exstensive tissue damage. Then there is the possibility that your friend used the Afrin thing as an excuse for a nose job. Who knows because it's not like everyone pays visits to the nose doctor. He could have mentioned something about how he could tell she used a spray by her nostrils and that became the perfect excuse. Don't worry, I'm not judging because I did pretty much the same thing when I had a nose job. My doctor casually mentioned that I had a slightly deviated septum, so I told everyone I had breathing surgery! It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the truth either. Look, my point was that you can keep using Afrin, but if you are having trouble breathing, surgery could probably correct it without changing the look of your nose.
