Got Into A Little Trouble, Now I Can't Get Out

I have a bit of a problem. See, boxing is my life and that's all I do. I box all the time, but recently I was boxing out of the ring (which in my school, is not at all allowed) and now I'm kicked off the team. I don't know what to do. This goes on my record and I don't think that I'm going to be able to get back on another team because they will see my record and know what I did. I know that I really shouldn't have got into a fight. I just want some advice because if I didn't get to box anymore then I wouldn't only be upsetting myself. I would be upsetting my dad and grandfather. They were both golden glove boxers, and if I didn't get to box they would really be disappointed. Please, some advice.

I would say you are in more than a little trouble here, with regards to boxing. Technically the boxing commission could suspend/revoke your license to box for any of the following offenses that you have committed: 1. Competing in an unauthorized exhibition (no ref/doctor/commission oversight/improper equipment) 2. Competing against an unlicensed person (The person you fought did not hold a boxing license) 3. Conduct unbecoming of a licensee of the commission (Battery is a criminal act, most states require suspension for this) And since you were 18 (Im assuming) yes it will go on your record. Other teams may see this and not want to deal with it. Also, if you ever get really good at boxing and go pro, the boxing commission will see the incident and may deny you a license. I hope, for your sake, that another team will take you, and that the commission will not suspend/revoke your boxing license. It sounds like what you did was a one-time stupid mistake.
