What Could This Be?

This isn't about me, it's about my sister, Ashley. She gets really bad headaches--I mean REALLY bad. She's gone blind twice because of them (her sight's back now), they make her throw up and she's up a lot crying becuse the pain's so bad. She's been to a few doctors and gone to the hospital, but they have all said that it's only normal migrains. She's already had a cat scan and they said that nothing's wrong, but who goes blind because of "Normal Migrains"?!? The doctors have given her Tylenol Codine, and it helps, but I was just wondering if anyone might know what the heck that is or if anyone can relate to whats wrong with her? Any help appriciated!!

I totally feel for your poor sister. I get migraines, too, and I know how bad they hurt!!! I have also lost my sight for a while because of the pain and such. The doctors have told me the same thing about them just being normal migraines. Chances are, they're right. Everyone's body reacts to migraines different ways, but the whole sight thing is a completely normal reaction. I just know how much they hurt!!!! I wish that no one had to put up with that pain. When I get them I feel like I just want to die if I knew that it would end the pain right then and there. This probably didn't a whole lot. But, I hope that your sisters migraines get less severe. Trust me, they do start to get somewhat less severe with age, for the most part. If you have any more questions, you can email me through teenfx. I can relate 100% I'm 15 and I have cronic migrains and i get migrains that badly too....i black out, go "blind", and get sick when i get the headaches.....if u wanna talk more about it u can email me through teenFX. ~Heather Migrains suck!!!! they hurt really bad and i HATE them!!!! I don't think i would wish them on my worst enemy and i feel bad for anyone that gets them too!!!! ok! so u might think i'm making a bigger deal out of it...but i'm really really not!
