Contacts Are Painful
Ok everyone. Here is my story. Two summers ago I was going into 7th grade and I felt I was old enough to get contacts. Well I got the hard lenses (gas-permeable) and they not only were excruciatingly painful to put in, but I could feel them in my eyes. After so many tries, I gave up on contacts. Then, a couple of days ago I thought, "I hear everyone go on and on about how you can't feel soft lenses so I'll give it a go. " I went to the eye doctor on July 8th and I tried them. I couldn't even put them in! You have to stretch your eyes wide open to put them in and I am so sensitive. I told my mom, dissapointedly, "I just can't put them in." So now I'm back to glasses. Oh well, at least I'm getting nice glasses. Yeah. Right. I can't stand my glasses and I can't stand contacts. The only thing left for me to do is Lasek surgery, which you have to be 18 or older. I'm stuck with glasses. Does anyone else feel my pain? Please respond! Thanks so much!
