I Practice Thai Boxing
I've practice Thai boxing since last year. I can say that really helped me. In my Thai boxing lesson, there are 7 boys and 3 girls. Guys come with me most of the time and they show me how to do. When we do a match they really hurt, and I of course can't say anything.
It's on my mind. You should do that sport. I'm sure if you are shy like me that's the sport to practice. I'm really happy doing that sport and I like it very much. It's like kickboxing. Try Thai boxing you won't be disappointed.

I started Muay Thai kickboxing about 2 months ago and absolutely :) it !!!! I :) the variety in what you can do and it has really boosted my fitness levels, i mean i thought i was fit before i started the class but now i se i am no where near fit!!! I know what you mean Austen, but as long as you are doing it under a qualified teacher who can show you the right and wrong way of doing things then it is fine. It is also great for self defence but apart from that it is so much more fun to elbow and knee than it is to punch!!!

WARNING!: Thai boxing can be extremely dangerous. The use of elbows and knees is somewhat restricted depending on state boxing commission regulations, but elbows/knees can do a lot more damage than just a punch or a kick. Please be careful.
